When Olivier and Kiet discovered the piece of jungle where Le Passe Temps is located today, they had the dream of a hidden place by the sea, away from the crowd but easy to tour from, a blend of authenticity and comfort. They built Le Passe-Temps from scratch, with the ambition to create a Thai style version of a French “maison d’hôte”: their home, a place to host guests and to show them their way of life and to tell their stories. They try to welcome all guests personally, take them on excursions as much as they can, and nothing pleases them more than to see them coming back as friends.

Remote without being lost, yet right in the middle of some of Krabi’s must-see spots, this rustic gem is nestled in the heart of Ao Phang Nga bay.

The Rooms
Set just a few metres from the beach, each of the eight uniquely designed wooden bungalows surround the swimming pool. The rooms offer modern amenities with an Asian charm. Each piece of furniture has been carefully chosen to suit the ambiance, while always having the environment in mind. The bungalows do have air-conditioning but no TV.

The Facilities
The bar is located in the lobby area, a charming place where guests can enjoy an aperitif during sunset, and where one can meet other guests. The social aspect is an important part of the Le Passe Temps experience. The beachside restaurant serves traditional Thai cuisine, with a French touch.

Staying at Le Passe Temps is a unique experience, it is not for everyone - it is a more personal and intimate place to stay. However, if you enjoy staying at an authentic place where you can meet new people and share good food and wine, then this special hotel may just be right for you.
