Fleewinter
Khanom Hill is a small boutique resort with 15 units, consisting of of two parts. The old part with two private houses, some bungalows and apartments in a beautifully designed garden goes down to the two beaches. Opposite the road (no through road, it goes only to Had Nai Plao and ends there) the owners have built 9 generously spaced bungalows, one pool for adults, a large children’s pool and a jacuzzi.
All bungalows and apartments are constructed about 8 to 12 m above sea level and the beaches are only a short walk away. Two completely different bays invite guests to swim and relax.
The Rooms
All bungalows and apartments include air-conditioning, television, fridge, hot water shower, hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities, beach bags, beach towels and DVD-player.
The Pool Villas 21 to 29 are situated on the other side of the road around thr pool, children’s pool and Jacuzzi. Guests just need to cross the road and walk through the beautiful garden to go to the beaches and the restaurant. The bungalows are built in modern Thai style, generously sized with a bedroom of 26 sqm, a bathroom of 8 sqm and a roofed terrace, most of them with sea view.
Apartment 5 consists of two connected rooms. In the upper part you will find a king size bed, in the lower part a comfortable relaxing area with panoramic windows towards the sea. There is also a single bed, and a large modern bathroom. The apartment is secluded and near to the walkway to the small bay. The panoramic views over the sea from the huge terrace with comfortable deck chairs are really stunning, and can be seen even from bed.
Apartment 6 is situated on the first floor of the garden house with great views over garden and sea. With an internal height of nearly 5m Apartment 6 is very bright.
You find a big roofed terrace with comfortable deck chairs and an even bigger not roofed terrace towards the sea with 2 more sun chairs. There’s always a light breeze going on this terrace even when it is very hot. You will like the new modern ample bathroom with window towards the sea.
Luxury Bungalow 4 is designed with care and has a huge and very high roof. The living room consists of one king size bed and 2 additional beds for children or adults on the second level. The spacious bathroom has two washbasins and a round shower with glass dome, setting a view to the palm trees in the garden while you are showering.
Apartment 3 is the biggest apartment of the resort and suitable for a family. It has a large window front facing the sea. In the sleeping area guests will find a king size bed and two single beds separated by a thai style room divider.
In the living area you will find a cosy settee. A kitchen with tableware, although no cooker, completes the apartment. Apartment 3 opens to a terrace equipped with 2 deck chairs, a table and 4 chairs, facing the garden and the sea. Beach access is provided by a stair set.
The thai style bungalows 1 and 2 are situated in the beautiful garden, built and furnished in Thai style , with a huge terrace facing the garden and the sea. The bungalows feature a large bed room with separated living area. and an additional bed for a third person.
The Facilities
Thum’s restaurant is an important part of the resort. Thum and her family try to make guests familiar with the wide range of Thai dishes. The restaurant is furnished nicely and distributed across 3 levels, one of them right next to the beach. During the evening the light of our oil lamps on each of the tables create a romantic atmosphere.
Sunbeds are provided by the pool and at the beach.
