Stylish and chic, all 40 rooms and suites are located on the beachfront surrounded by wonderful tropical gardens. These unique hideaways come furnished in a contemporary island style and feature Brazilian walnut paneling, beamed ceilings, crisp white linens and rattan furniture leading out onto either a patio or terrace.

There is a choice of two restaurants. Palapa Restaurant has a delightful open terrace with thatched roofs right at the water's edge and serves an a la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner, where guests can choose from a variety of Italian dishes including Pastas and Pizza; reputed to be some of the best pizzas made outside Italy and baked in a traditional pizza oven. Pirate Cove is a more casual beach front bar and restaurant surrounded by palm trees. It serves filling snacks, sandwiches, pastas, grilled “catch of the day and pizzas. On some evenings you can listen to live music and take part in dancing under the stars.

The recently opened Italian delicatessen “Buon Appetito” is a unique feature for such a tiny island!!

Is an Italian delicatessen, with food imported from every corner of Italy and a wide selection of wines.

There is a full range of activities available based around the beach including kayaks, paddle boats, and superb snorkeling as well as day trips by sea and air. Day trip and boat excursions can be arranged to Mayreau, Petit Tabac, Palm Island, Union Island, Petit St. Vincent, Mustique, Bequia, mainland-St. Vincent and the world’s famous Tobago Cays and Mopion. The four star Tamarind Beach Hotel is outfitted with a massage facility to help you relax and rejuvenate, with help of the soothing sounds of waves crashing on the beach.

Canouan’s Jim Fazio designed 18 hole championship Golf Course is easily accessible upon availability and reservation can be arranged through the reception.

Getting to our Island is easy, using main international flight hubs –Barbados (50 mins), St. Lucia (35 mins) and Grenada (20 mins.). Schedule flights to and from Canouan Island are available with Grenadine Airways. The Island is also accessible by private charter from several Caribbean destinations. Complimentary flight inclusive offers are also available to make your vacation planning easier. Travel via private boat/ yacht, the private jetty located adjacent the reception area, allows easy access to our property with no hassle.

Our upper floor rooms have balconies with breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea, whilst ground floor rooms have patios with direct access to the beach.

Beachfront Suites: Room Size: 54.6 square meters/ 588 square foot - Maximum occupancy: 3 persons.

Our 8 spacious Beachfront Suites include separate seating area, walk-in closet, air conditioning, telephone, personal in-room safe, overhead ceiling fan, mini bar, hair dryer, coffee and tea amenities and TV. All of the stunning Suites have features a large beachfront terrace with an unforgettable view of the Caribbean Sea.

Features and services: Tamarind Beach Hotel offers a range of complimentary amenities including daily maid service twice a day, welcome drink, personal in-room safe, telephone, hairdryer, twin beds are available upon request, TV in all rooms and suites, air-conditioning, wireless connection in rooms, as well as a selection of water sports; paddle boats, snorkeling equipment and kayaks.

Palapa Restaurant: A delightful open terrace restaurant surrounded by tropical flowers and right at the water’s edge. The finest ingredients are imported from Italy such as olive oil, rice, pasta and cheeses, bringing the best Mediterranean cuisine to the Caribbean. ⧫ Breakfast: 7am -10 am ⧫ Lunch: Noon – 2 pm ⧫ Dinner: 7pm – 10 pm

Pirate’s Cove Restaurant and Bar: Informal bar & restaurant, serving light meals such as sandwiches, pastas and pizzas especially made in a wooden oven. Special evenings with live music and dancing. Happy hour on Wednesdays with DJ Max. ⧫ Open daily from 4pm. Dinner: 7pm – 10 pm

The Beach Bar: Located on the white sandy Beach offering an array of tropical cocktails and light snacks, sandwiches and salads. ⧫ Open daily from 10pm – 6pm

Buon Appetito: A delicatessen that supplies a full selection of Italian cold cuts and cheeses along with luxuries such as caviar, paté de fois gras, bottarga, etc. Italian wines and French Champagnes. Pasta, sauces, olive oils, balsamic vinegars, olives, selection of preserves, Italian cookies, panini sandwiches and pies are also available. Best value for your money!! ⧫ Open: 10am – 2 pm and 6pm – 8pm. Closes on Mondays.

Activities: Complimentary non-motorised water sports including kayaks, paddle boats, hydro bikes and snorkelling equipment.
