This highly anticipated luxury safari lodge is the first of its kind in Sri Lanka. Resplendent Ceylon's latest creation whisks you off to a secluded environment which offers both escapism and adventure.

Each of the arched tented structures known as 'cocoons' and 'urchins' have been carefully crafted from natural materials and is reminiscent of the boulders and structures surrounding it whilst the layout of the lodge reflects the shape of a leopard's paw. Large glazed facades offer beautiful jungle-views with a scattering of secluded beach-facing Pool Cocoons boasting private plunge pools and 16 further cocoons perfectly placed around watering holes to attract birdlife and amphibians.

State of the art amenities such as air-conditioning, wi-fi and Sonos streaming audio have been installed. The interiors of the lodges are decorated in a modern colonial style featuring freestanding handmade copper bath tubs, four poster beds, teak floors, leather accents and repurposed metallic hardware.

This luxury five star safari lodge has a vast free-form swimming pool which wraps around the open-air bamboo-clad Ten Tuskers bar and Dining Pavilion where guests can admire the golden boulder-clad coast line and sandy beach.

The exquisite daily-changing menu features gourmet safari style cuisine inspired by local tradition. Guests can enjoy cocktails as the sun goes down, in-suite dining and picnics amongst the sand dunes.

An incredible wilderness experience awaits the Wild Coast guest with twice daily safaris that take you off to the quietest corners of Yala National Park, one of Sri Lanka's richest biodiversities with your very own naturalist to guide you through the mammals, birdlife and flora and fauna that make up Yala. Highlights include the famous Sri Lankan leopard, elephants and the elusive sloth bear. A variety of workshops and lectures are on offer for the wildlife enthusiast in addition to nature walks and birdwatching experiences.
