Ideal for those looking for an idyllic hideaway on the coast of Sri Lanka, Blue Heights has a contemporary feel with neutral-coloured walls, funky cement floors, timber ceilings and large open spaces that let in the ocean breeze.

If you can tear yourself away from the pretty gardens and private swimming pool, you will be rewarded with the secluded cove like beaches of Hiriketiya that are just a short stroll away. Blue Heights can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests and is only rented to one party at a time ensuring complete privacy.

The swimming pool with Jacuzzi is situated under the shade of coconut trees and the gardens are frequented by plenty of birds including peacock, porcupine and rabbits.

Blue Heights consists of the main house with one bedroom, living and dining spaces and a separate chalet with additional three bedrooms all overlooking the gardens, swimming pool and the sea at a distance.

The upper floor of the main house has one en-suite double room which opens out to a spacious private balcony with garden and sea views. The two storey chalet next-door has a large master suite on the upper floor leading to a spacious balcony with built-in seating which is ideal for alfresco dining. The ground floor of the chalet has two double rooms opening out to a verandah with garden views. The en-suite bathrooms are stylish with polished cement walls and flooring and the rooms feature overhead fans, built in cement or timber beds fitted with mosquito netting, lounge chairs and built-in cupboards. The master suite has an electronic safe.

The main house has a spacious, open-plan living and dining area furnished with lounge chairs and a 10-seater dining table. There is a den with plush sofas, TV and DVD player, and telephone. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, cooker and oven. Guests can choose to prepare their own meals or have Sri Lankan meals prepared by the cook.

Dickwella is a charming little fishing village in the southern coast of Sri Lanka with a pristine palm fringed beach. Fishermen here sail in traditional catamaran sail boats under the stars into the deep sea the night. Plenty of day-trips can be arranged in this area including whale watching excursions at Mirissa Beach and even jeep safaris at Yala National Park.
