Pitse Lodge is only available to book on a private basis for up to 10 people. Whether you are a couple, family or group of friends this is the ideal exclusive stay option.

There are only 5 luxury thatch and stone chalets with three of them offering luxurious en suite bathrooms and outside showers. Two of the rooms are linked by an entrance hall and ideal for families with small children. The chalets have high ceilings and fans to keep cool and the rooms are equipped with the usual guest amenities you could expect to find.

The main lodge areas include a lounge, library, dining area and deck overlooking the open plains with uninterrupted views. There is also an outside boma where you can enjoy intimate dinners under the African skies.

Relax and soak up the African sun whilst lounging at the pool or watch the prolific variety of birdlife from the Lodge. Binoculars and a telescope are available for your use.

Having exclusive use of Pitse Lodge means that the safaris can be tailored around you! With no other guests in the lodge, you have flexibility in your safari holiday to make the most of enjoying the African bush and wildlife.

The Welgevonden Game Reserve share a contiguous border with the Marakele National Park offering a total conservancy of 1110 000 hectares and forms part of the Waterberg Biosphere proclaimed by UNESCO and also a Natural Heritage Site. The varied and beautiful landscape offers some of Africa's most beautiful scenery.

There is a diversity of free roaming animals from the big five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo) as well as plains antelope, giraffe, zebra and over 250 bird species. The reserve is also home to smaller predators like jackal and a range of indigenous plantlife.
