Once home to General Douglas MacArthur, the Manila Hotel is one of the oldest premier hotels in the Philippines. Located at the edge of Rizal Park, the hotel provides views of historic Intramuros to one side and Manila Bay to the other.

Rooms in the old wing feature classic Filipino touches including warm wood paneling and hand-carved furniture. All rooms have modern comforts and evoke quiet luxury. Suites all feature separate living and sleeping areas and each is uniquely styled. The MacArthur Suite has been refurbished with antique furniture and ample seating, just as the General would have preferred.

The hotel's spa is a lovely place to be pampered and the fitness centre is outfitted with modern equipment and comforts. An outdoor pool is surrounded by seating with shaded options for those who prefer to avoid the sun. There are three restaurants at the Manila Hotel including the lavish Champagne Room and Mabuhay Palace, the most luxurious Chinese dining in Manila.
