Watea Lodge is located on the outskirts of Napier, just a 10 minute drive from the centre and a 15-20 minute drive to Hastings and Havelock North.
The house is large with the guest rooms located in a separate wing, providing privacy. The three guest bedrooms are all very spacious with new super king sized beds with luxurious linen. Dressing gowns, flat screen TVs, tea and coffee making and fridges are provided in each of the rooms. The largest room also has a kitchenette with cooking utensils; ideal for a longer stay.
Guests have use of their own lounge in the separate guests' wing. Guest amenities include an 18m heated lap pool, spa, secluded garden and private enclosed courtyard.
Breakfast consists of fresh coffee and homemade bread alongside seasonal fruits and a different cooked option each morning. In the evenings, you can join your host, Iris, for an aperitif before heading out to one of the local wineries for a fabulous dinner. Iris is more than happy to make bookings and drop guests off so they can sample the award winning wines from the region with dinner before taking a taxi home.
