Renovated in 2011 with elegance by the renowned spanish designer Lazaro Rosa Violan, Le Palais de l'O is a place to relax and re-energise. It is situated in the Palmeraie area of Marrakech, but only 20 minutes from the centre of the old souks and markets of the old medina. It is well located for seeing everything in the region with the Atlas Mountains only 1 hour away the airport 30 minutes.
The hotel is made up of a central atrium lounge and dining area with the pools beyond in and some of the rooms along the sides on ground and the upper floor. Within the gardens are also a number of pavilions with two rooms or suites, each having a private terrace.
At the far end of the gardens is the spa with its heated plunge pool, Jacuzzi, hamman, sauna and treatment rooms and then beyond that a working garden with herbs and vegetables produced for the kitchens.
The centrepiece of the hotel is the large pool which is heated - there is also children's pool set off to one side. By the pools are ample sun-loungers and the external terrace dining room terrace also overlooks it. The menu is local cuisine fused with flavours of the world, much of it prepared with products picked from the garden.

Douar Samra is typical of the traditional stone and rammed-earth dwellings of Berber villagers, constructed in several terraced stone levels. It is located up a steep hill in the middle of the village of thirty or so Berber houses in High Atlas.
Dar Tassa, literally meaning 'The Home of Motherly Love' in the local Berber language, extends a heartfelt welcome to all who visit.
