Enjoying a splendid riverside location in the centre of the UNESCO protected ancient town of Luang Prabang, Burasari Heritage is set in a carefully restored traditional French colonial house, originally built in the 19th century. This charming boutique property offers luxurious accommodation, attentive service and fine Lao cuisine in an atmosphere reminiscent of the best of colonial times.

The design is fabulous throughout this property. From the stylish open plan living room and dining room that spills out onto the riverside - to the bedrooms and bathrooms. We adore some of the finishing touches here including the old fashioned trunks that are actually mini bars and the brass framed showers that look more like bell-boy luggage racks.

There are three types of rooms to choose from; the Superior, Deluxe River View and Deluxe Terrace or Balcony. All rooms are fitted with smart wooden floors, chic and exotic furniture with retro finishing touches. The Superior rooms are a little smaller with city views at the back of the property, while the Deluxe River View rooms have windows that offer magnificent views of the Nam Khan River. For the ultimate experience, book the Deluxe Terrace or Balcony where you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the river from your own private balcony or terrace. Each room comes with a TV, free daily-replenished minibar and a safety deposit box. Free toiletries and a hairdryer are included in an en suite bathroom.

The restaurant at Burasari Heritage Luang Prabang serves delicious Lao-Thai cuisine created by a dedicated team of chefs from the finest locally sourced, market-fresh produce, including line-caught fish and seafood from the Mekong and Khan rivers. Simple, honest and earthy, meals can be enjoyed in the elegant ''Dining Room'' restaurant or on ''The Terrace'', with fine views of the Nam Khan River.

It is also worth mentioning that the hotel’s spas is one of our favourites in Luang Prabang - well trained staff are attentive and the list of treatments is perfect after a ‘hard’ day of sightseeing!

Burasari Heritage Luang Prabang is perched on the edge of the Old Town so almost everywhere is accessible on foot - and the hotel offers free bicycle hire. The property is a 5-minute walk to night market. It is a 15-minute drive from Luang Prabang Airport.
