Dera Mandawa is owned and managed by the delightful Singh family, who welcome guests into their beautifully maintained heritage property. The small hotel is located a short distance from the bustling markets and city palace, yet provides an oasis of calm and tranquility in this colourful city.

There are 11 spacious suites at the hotel, all individual in layout and decoration and providing en-suite bathrooms and a mixture of twin or king beds. Many of the rooms are split level and are decorated in traditional Indian style. The small property has beautiful courtyards and gardens to relax in, and many of the home cooked traditional style meals are served under the stars in one of the outdoor spaces.

The defining feature of this property, however, is the family feel it has within the setting of a beautiful boutique hotel, enhancing guests' experience rather that just providing a place to sleep. There are various of experiences and activities that can be arranged from the hotel, including a brilliant cooking demonstration/lesson and kite flying - a traditional activity popular with the locals, especially during the annual kite festival in January when the skies are filled with colourful kites!
