The Spice Routes Houseboats are a collection of traditional barges that were originally designed for and used to transport rice, spices and coir through the canals of Alleppey and have since been converted into comfortable houseboats for guests to enjoy cruising along the. The boats are based in the heart of the south Keralan backwaters in Alleppey and enjoy scenic routes through the peaceful waterways.

In the Spice Routes collection, there are three luxury houseboats and one premium houseboat. The luxury houseboats are named Clove, Cinnamon and Pepper and provide a mixture of two and three bedroom accommodation, whilst the premium boat named Cardamom provides two bedrooms. All houseboats offer comfortable lounging areas, en-suite shower rooms, AC, meals on a full board basis and large windows that allow beautiful views of the palm fringed waters as you drift by.

For each boat, guests will have a chef, driver and assistant to ensure a relaxing and comfortable stay and carefully planned routes will allow you to really experience the unique way of life on the backwaters as you drift through the canals.
