Fleewinter

Located on a small hilltop in rural Kerala between Fort Cochin and Periyar, Serenity is a private villa style hotel situated amongst spice gardens and rubber estates. There are just five rooms here which all have their own verandahs and are decorated with a mixture of period furniture and more modern features.

This 1920s estate bungalow has been refurbished to still ooze in heritage ambience within its rural setting. Kerala is known for its stunning landscapes and this is a true expression of this. With the quiet surroundings you may just want to enjoy the spa and yoga to completely relax. For those more active there is plenty to do with a swimming pool, mountain bikes, badminton and escorted walks in the surrounding spice plantations.

Food is a highlight here and you will be sure to take some of the tastes of Serenity home with you. You can join in with a cookery demonstration or relax by the pool enjoying one of the chef’s superb creations. The chef creates the menu based on Mediterranean influences and seafood dishes, but it is all tailored to guests so you can be sure each meal will be exactly what you are after.

Please note only one room has air-con here but the property has been designed to be cool and airy and completely comfortable for all guests.
