Pepper Trail is a unique hideaway tucked away beneath the deep canopy of the jungle in Wayanad, north Kerala. Located in 200 acres of colonial spice and coffee plantation, the property provides guests with a memorable and special experience.
The accommodation comprises of two independent suites located in the 140 year old lovingly restored colonial bungalow, and two separate one bedroom tree houses situated 40 feet above ground and reached by elevated walkways meandering through coffee trees. All rooms are finished to a very high standard and great care has been taken by the owner, Anand, to ensure beautifully designed and very comfortable rooms. The two bungalow suites feature antique furniture and luxury en-suite bathrooms, whilst the luxury tree houses offer a unique stay with spacious indoor and outdoor living spaces, en-suite shower rooms and four poster beds.
A spacious dining pavilion nestled within the trees provides guests with a beautiful place to enjoy the delicious and carefully designed menu, whilst a refreshing dip can be enjoyed in the swimming pool overlooking the endless jungle. Guests can also enjoy guided plantation walks, small boat trips on the nearby quiet lake, discovering the spices, herbs, coffee and exotic plants growing in abundance.
Note: This hotel does not currently hold a license to sell alcohol. Guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol to consume in their rooms if they wish.
