Neeleshwar is a luxurious beach resort set amongst a secluded palm grove on the north Keralan coast. With direct access to the beautiful beach, this peaceful retreat feels like a hidden gem in tropical surroundings and offers luxury facilities for the upmost in rest and relaxation.

The resort consists of 18 detached cottages, each individually named after a traditional yogic virtue such as Shanti (peace) and Virya (strength). The design of the cottages is based on traditional fishermen huts and provide comfort and luxury inside. Sea view, garden view and private pool cottages are available and all feature teak wooden floors, locally handmade wooden furniture, AC, en-suite washrooms, tea/coffee making facilities and iPod docks.

The resort has a focus on wellbeing, and a wonderful spa featuring Ayurveda treatment rooms is available for guests, along with a stunning swimming pool, complimentary morning yoga sessions and mediation. Private yoga sessions can also be arranged, as well as specialist treatment programmes. There are two dining options at the hotel – Annapurna, which serves nourishing predominantly vegetarian food, and Meenakshi, which is a beachside restaurant serving fresh seafood. The hotel also has two bars which serve wine and beer, but no spirits. One of the unique things about this hotel is their ‘Meeting Table’ concept, which is a dedicated space for solo travelers to sit and eat and drink together.

Note: this hotel currently only holds a beer and wine license and no other alcohol is served. Guests may bring their own alcohol to consume in their rooms if they wish.
