This floating lodge is the only one inside the Mamirauá Sustainable Development Reserve, which is considered the biggest protected flooded forest in the world and also a World Heritage Convention's natural site. Sustainability and respect of nature are paramount here: all the energy comes from the sun, the rain is collected and kept and all the effluents are treated. Here, you will be as one with nature. The gateway city to the lodge is Tefé, accessible by air or by boat from Manaus. There are flights 3 times per week. The duration of the flight is around 1h.

The floating lodge consists of five bungalows, with two rooms and two bathrooms in each bungalow. Each room has a porch with a view of the river and the forest. The lodge has a central floating area with a small deck, a kitchen, a restaurant, a bar, a video room and a library. The facilities are all sustainable- using solar power.

Most employees come from riverside communities. Each person works about 10 days a month and then returns home. The objective is not to make the people depend on the touristic activity, but that they can keep doing other activities.

There is one restaurant with amazon and Brazilian influences, where all the meals are served. For products purchased at the lodge or consumed at the bar, credit card payments can be made at the office in Tefé, upon return from the lodge.
