Located in the heart of Rio's charming historic quarter Santa Teresa, the accommodation is housed in a 1930's mansion and is set among large tropical gardens.
The governor of Rio de Janeiro used to live in this charming house which has been transformed into a small pousada of five bedrooms, including a separate house, a bungalow and a swimming pool. The bungalow and the villa are at the top of the garden. Privacy is assured as the guests have their own entrance and keys.
Just 5 minutes walk from the house you can enjoy a plethora of bars and restaurants, cultural centres and museums. And Rio's main attractions are a short and pretty economical taxi ride away.
The owners are a family of expats who will go out of their way to make sure you make the most of the city!
