Completed in December 2009, The Atlantis Hotel now offers eight spacious rooms in the main building and two two-bedroom apartments next to the pool.

The Atlantis Hotel is located in Tent Bay, St. Joseph and was one of the first hotels to exist on the East Coast of Barbados. This was made possible by the new railway line that was constructed in 1883 which lead to the East Coast (Belleplaine area).

Prior to the completion of the Barbados railway, travelling across this beautiful tropical island was very difficult as the only mode of transport back then was by horse and cart.

Spacious and Modern

The Atlantis Hotel completed renovations in December of 2009 and now offers eight spacious rooms in the main building. This Barbados hotel also offers guests two two-bedroom self contained apartments situated adjacent to the pool.

The atmosphere at The Atlantis Hotel is uncomplicated yet stylish with features including colonial furniture, vivid fishing boat colours and modern amenities. Take a look for yourself in the photo gallery below.

The famous Atlantis buffet lunch takes place every Sunday and Wednesday.

We also have a breakfast buffet on the last Sunday of every month.

Our cuisines is a mixture of authentic Bajan and Caribbean recipes, using fresh local ingredients.

Dine indoors or out and enjoy the fresh Atlantic breeze and breathtaking ocean views.
