The owners of the hotel have lovingly revamped this little hotel by hand. All of the rooms at The Franklin Hotel are a little bit different.
The hotel is in the centre of Adelaide, a five-minute walk to the city's Central Market, a 10-minute stroll to Rundle Mall, and a 15-minute tram-ride away from North Terrace and the renowned South Australian Museum and Art Gallery of South Australia.

The Rooms
Decorated with original, unique artworks from local artists, all rooms include a refrigerator, an iPod docking station and modern furnishings. Some rooms offer a bathtub in their en suite bathroom.

The Deluxe Rooms are the entry-level rooms. Unique works from local artists, rustic wooden panelling and colourful, funky lighting in all three of these rooms provides a cosy, homely feeling.
The Superior Rooms have just that little bit more to help guests relax. Room 2 is all about chilling out with a huge bathroom with a super deep bath tub and a king sized bed. A nice touch is the beautiful, original stained glass window treatment here too. Room 6 is one of the largest rooms. Light & airy it is on the western side of the hotel with three large windows.
The highest room category is called Premium Room. Both rooms have deep soak bathtubs in beautifully appointed bathrooms. Room 3 also has a double headed shower. King sized beds and plenty of space within the rooms. Re worked street lamps provide the light in room 3 while a magnificent boom lamp is given new life with a pink powder coat in room 1.

The Facilities
The on-site restaurant offers schnitzels, steaks, burgers and delicious desserts. The bar serves a variety of beverages including cider, beer, wine and cocktail jars.
