Fleewinter

Broken River Mountain Resort, in the cool mountain tranquillity of Eungella National Park, is the world’s best location to see platypus in the wild. Within a short drive of the resort guests will find amazing views, deep rainforest canopies, mountain streams and even waterfalls. The roads are a mix of bitumen and graded soil but are well suited to the standard 2WD vehicles. Those guests with 4WD will be able to explore even further.

The Rooms
The resort offers one or two bedroom cottages as well as studio rooms including a kitchenette. All rooms have private bathrooms and TV.

The Facilities
The resort features an outdoor pool, a shaded BBQ areas set along the river bank, a lounge area with open fire, reference library and board games. Possums Table Licensed Restaurant is open for breakfasts and dinners, serving fresh produce of tropical Queensland’s farms, rivers and oceans.

By arrangement guests can join the resort's resident environmentalist, spotlighting for nocturnal animals in the national park. These tours run on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and are complimentary for resort guests.
