The Bay Village Tropical Retreat is nestled in a tropical garden and has a Balinese feel to it.

Bay Village Tropical Retreat is located a 3 minutes’ walk from the Cairns Esplanade and a 10 minutes’ walk from the city centre.

The Rooms
All of the rooms feature cool tiled floors, natural colours, tropical fabrics and locally made rattan furniture. All have ensuite showers, either Queen or single beds, individual air-conditioning, ceiling fans and tea & coffee making facilities to ensure a comfortable stay.

The modern Standard Rooms sleep one to two people comfortably and have all basic facilities while the Studio Rooms feel a little more like home, featuring a microwave, fridge and dining.

The Family Rooms sleep up to four guests in one queen size bed and two single beds. They are well equipped with a fridge and coffee & tea making facilities.

The spacious One Bedroom Suite comes with a separate lounge area as well as with a self-contained kitchen and dining area.

The Two Bedroom Apartment features two separate bedrooms (can be 1 King and 2 singles or 2 Kings OR 4 singles), plus a sofa bed is available as well. It has two separate bathrooms and a fully self-contained kitchen with dining area and open-plan lounge. It has internal laundry facilities, so it is perfect if you wish to travel lightly, as well as a private balcony or patio. The Three Bedroom Apartments have all this plus one additional bedroom, so can sleep up to seven guests.

The Facilities
The Bayleaf Balinese Restaurant and Bar serves sumptuous cuisine throughout the day. For casual al fresco dining, there are barbecue facilities.
